Coca-Cola Soundwave Discovery Tour

Over the years we developed and realised a variety of projects for ZFK Berlin / Coca-Cola. To give you an idea of our work we would like to present a project from 2009 in more detail: The Coca-Cola Soundwave Discovery Tour 2009 was a series of events taking place over the course of six months during which a search took place for a German newcomer band. At this event Burmester Event- & Medientechnik managed and executed large-scale video projections as well as tools for interactive audience participation and various lighting concepts.

By measuring the cheers and applause of the crowd, the “Laudometer” decides on three winning bands. By using a large-scale projection screen the crowd was able to follow the success of their efforts. In order to keep a smooth work-flow during the show a special remote control unit was developed which made it possible to make spontaneous creative or technical adjustments.

The media server network managed to bundle up to eight live camera streams, as well as a large number of graphics and promotion videos, into one visual stage experience. The control of the unit was done by a specially designed touch interface.

The Coca-Cola Soundwave tent was a trademark sign for the Coca-Cola brand at Germany’s biggest music festival. The accurate branding is made possible by a distortion-free projection (here at the “Rock am Ring” festival – 80.000 visitors).
